What do you get when you put hundreds of thousands of people clad in a mixture of boho chic and hipster attire in a desert over a two-weekend span to party to all types of music?
You get one of the most popular festivals in the world—COACHELLA!
This year was my first time going to Coachella. Although, I’d heard about how amazing the experience is, I had no real expectations when I first arrived in the desert. The less expectations the better, right? Well… it was even more than I could have imagined!
The purchased a VIP wristband which offers you access to two VIP areas on the Coachella grounds: the large VIP area next to the main stage, with organic food trucks, seating opportunities, tents, bathrooms, phone plug-in stations and ATMs within a relaxed and uncrowded atmosphere. From there you have a view of the main stage. The other VIP area, called “Rose Garden”, is smaller and on the other side of the festival grounds. It is a beautiful bohemian rose (beer) garden that is perfect for chilling-out during the day.
Before I got a chance to experience the festival, I first fell in love with how beautiful Palm Springs is. The actual festival is located in Indio, California but we stayed in an amazing house in the heart of Palm Springs.
