Want to get that perfect Instagram picture? Not your average selfie (or Célfie). Not even the perfect sunset, but a place where the diversity and uniqueness of Miami really stands out.
The Miami Marine Stadium in Key Biscayne is my number one favorite picture spot. The 6,566-seat stadium was built in 1963, and designed by Hilario Candela. It was originally made for water sports, but since 1992 it has been closed, and has now turned into a graffiti paradise.
Walls and walls of different art created by Miami’s every day people. Some walls have amazing pieces, while others have simply words with people marking their visitation. Don’t feel like adding to the art, you can sit on the edge and look at the view of the Miami skyline and feel the breeze of the ocean water. Told you it was paradise.
Word on the street is that it’s going to be knocked down soon and be rebuilt…so if you haven’t been there yet, now is your chance! But for now, enjoy this beautiful masterpiece.
