There’s 22 days left in September. In Miami, that means there’s 22 days left of taking advantage of all Miami Spice has to offer.
What’s Miami Spice? Miami Spice is a mouth-watering restaurant promotion, showcasing the very best of Miami cuisine. During August 1 – September 30, restaurants offer three-course meals featuring signature dishes created by world-renowned chefs at reduced prices: Lunch $23 and Dinner $39.
There are over 180 restaurants that are participating in Miami Spice 2015. With such an overwhelming number…I’ve put together (what I think) is a top 5 list of MUST TRY Miami Spice restaurants.
PROHIBITION MIAMI
After a girls night out, Prohibition is all I’ve been able to talk about for the last few weeks. The restaurant/lounge has a Chicago speakeasy vibe, with servers dressed in newsboy caps and ties, à la 1930s. They serve perfect dirty martinis alongside modern eats like truffle pasta and lobster croquettes.
CHEF ADRIANNE’S
I went to this little piece of Napa Valley place in the suburbs of West Kendall Miami with my grandfather and my cousins a few months back, and when I saw that Chef Adrianne was placing herself on the 2015 Miami Spice list, I knew it was going to automatically make it on my top 5 list. Picture this: a cozy, rustic place with the best Italian flavors and dishes…what else could you possibly ask for?
SUGARCANE RAW BAR GRILL
Ever wanted to try a “Secret Menu” at a not-so-secretive place? The Miami Spice offerings, with the exception of dessert, are non-menu items that’ll make you wish they were available all year long!
BULLA
There’s a lot of bulla going on in Coral Gables during Miami Spice, but one place that’ll make you scream with the most joy is definitely this Spanish hot spot. No need to decided on one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert…because Bulla let’s you order a ton of tapas so you can try it all!
RED: THE STEAKHOUSE
You can’t have dinner in Miami Beach without trying one of its famous steakhouses. RED has been named one of Miami’s top five steakhouses, but also one of the best off-menu items, best donuts, some of the best tapas, and now, thanks to this Béchamel-, fresh herbs-, and lobster-filled dish, some of the best mac and cheese, too.
