2013 was really such an amazing year for me. Sure, there were some downsides that happened this year, but hey – we wouldn’t appreciate happiness if we didn’t experience sadness! I couldn’t have asked for a better year to learn so much about myself, and realize all of the things that I want for my life. That being said, I am going to make 2014 even better. 2014 will be MY year.
If you know me, you know I can never be bored. Chilling? Yeah, that’s not in my vocabulary. This year I am going to see even more. Do even more.
I’m going to explore my way into 2014. And I want you to do it with me! New Year’s Resolutions? No one really follows them. So instead, I have a better idea.
The City Slicker welcomes a year of new beginnings. So to kick-start our new and improved, OUR YEAR, I have made a list of 5 things that we will accomplish together by February. Yup, that’s right, I’m giving you 1 month to do these 5 things with me. They aren’t difficult things. No rocket science here! They are simple things that will lighten up your life, trust me. No excuses. It’s time for you to do things for yourself before it’s too late. And setting simple goals like these will actually turn out better than any New Year’s resolution you set.
1. Go eat at a restaurant that you’ve never eaten at
2. Buy yourself something useful that you’ve never owned before
3. Try a new trend
4. Go to a new place
5. Exercise at least twice a week
Let’s go explore our way into 2014!
