Everyone knows that there is nothing better, and close to perfection, as ice cream. And somehow, two young men from Pinecrest have managed to make ice cream even one step closer to perfect.
Chuck Woodard and Daniel Golik opened Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream in September, and no matter what time you visit the ice cream shop, the line is always out the door!
Not only is Chill-N ice cream absolutely delicious, but the way it is made is what really makes your mouth drop. I can give you the whole scientific explanation of how this ice cream is made right in front of you, in just a few seconds, but let’s be serious – who can understand all of that crazy talk? So basically, to give you a spark notes version of it, the ice cream (whichever 1 of 12 flavors you choose) is in very small crystal forms, and it’s put under the -320 degrees fahrenheit liquid nitrogen machine and boom!!! There’s your ice cream!
When I went, I got the newest flavor, Red Velvet, with Reese’s peanut-butter cups! Who am I kidding… it’s been open since September! The LAST time I went is when I got that, but truthfully, I’ve tried almost every flavor. And let me tell you – every flavor is amazing!
