It’s been two weeks now since I turned 20. Going from 19 to 20 wasn’t life changing. I mean nothing changed at all actually. But during one of my daily-routine of reading all the new articles on Elite-Daily last week, I came across three posts about what life is really like in your 20s. I’m not even going to pretend as if they didn’t affect me – they scared the crap out of me.
Being in your 20s is probably the most crucial time in our lives. We’re actually growing up. We’re discovering who we are and what we want to do with the rest of our lives. And in each one of those articles I read, there was always the same thing mentioned- we all change drastically in our 20s… And with a change in self, comes a change in friends.
So today I’m making a toast to my special friends forever that have proved these theories wrong. We’ve all changed vastly throughout the many years we have known each other, but with each change we’ve made, each decision we’ve made, we’ve been there standing strong right next to each other through it all.
My inspiration for this post? Sex and the City. Just like Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha, we are all completely different people, but somehow mix perfectly together. And it’s not just in our personalities – but in our style too.
