What’s new? What’s hot? DRUNKEN DRAGON. South Beach’s first Korean Barbecue.
It’s a restaurant and bar that is open from 6 pm – midnight on weekdays and 6 pm – 1 am on weekends. But don’t try finding it unless you have Siri directing you! In fact, the only way you know this is the place is because people are walking in and out of the unmarked spot. But once you enter… you’ll be so happy you found it! The owners of this popular spot are the same owners of Foxhole. See the similarity? They both have their mysterious feel with no signs outside their door. The owners wanted both places to be more of a neighborhood hangout than a tourist attraction. (YESSS, THANK YOU!)
So let me tell you about the good stuff A.K.A the food! Some of the tables have built-in barbecues where you can see your food cooking right in front of you! If you’re not in the mood for an in-table BBQ experience, there are more than a dozen regular tables where the kitchen will handle the cooking for you.
Korean barbecue all day, err day.
Here’s a little sneak peek of Drunken Dragon. I’m not going to tell you anything else because I don’t want to ruin the experience for you! Make sure to make reservations before you go because as you can tell, this is Miami’s hottest restaurant at the moment. Don’t believe me? Drunken Dragon just won the “So Hot Right Now” award on Eater!!
