1/2 cup oats (not the instant kind)
1/2 mashed very ripe banana + 1/4 sliced banana for garnish
2 Pitted Dates sliced and used to garnish
1 tbsp almond butter
3 tbsp almond milk
1 tbsp unsweetened apple sauce (This is a vegan method of replacing oils needed in baking. This helps reduce the calorie count and get rid of fat)
Cinnamon (I recommend about half a teaspoon, you can decide)
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tbsp flax seeds
1/2 tbsp chia seeds
Sprinkle of salt
-you can add in pecans, walnuts, or chocolate chips for taste into the mix
Mix wet ingredients and dry ingredients separately, then combine. Pour into a baking dish. Preheat oven to 375 F. Put it in dish for about 15 minutes or until firm, then broil on high for about 3 minutes or until top goldens. This is to give it a crispy outer crust. For a little extra I poured some almond milk into the finished product and it made it almost like dipping a piece of warm banana bread into milk!
